I’m Bárbara and after a health challenge, in 2017 I began a process of change, becoming more connected with nature and our surroundings, through homeostatic processes and mutual aid for a better world. That is how I completed the Annual Course in Macrobiotics, Health and Self-Transformation (3 years) at the Macrobiotic Institute of Portugal and the Therapeutic Shiatsu course (2 years) with Nuno Fernandes. I also took several training courses with different teachers in Oriental Diagnosis, Therapeutic Plants, Zhineng Qi Gong and Myofascial Release.
I am also a Reiki therapist, yoga teacher and practitioner, birth and postpartum doula, and macrobiotic consultant.
In my massages, I use these different tools and techniques with a view to achieving homeostasis for the client. My main goal is to bring well-being, but also balance, to the people who consult me. My approach is physical, but also energetic, trying to encourage each person’s body to re-establish its own natural energetic and emotional flow.
Because we all have Yang energy, which is active and masculine, and Yin energy, which is passive and feminine, and it is in the meeting of these two that the greatest expression of each individual is born.
